We Enjoy and Excel in the Presence of God

Friday Blog - Friday 18th November

Good afternoon everyone,

It's been lovely to see the children in all their spots and stripes today. Many thanks for all the £1 donations for Children in Need.

Another jam-packed week in Badger Class! It seems like ages ago, but it was only Monday when we enjoyed our first excursion - a trip on the train to Lymington Library. The children were all beautifully behaved and enjoyed every minute of it. We were tired after all the excitement.

We have been reading The Jolly Postman this week and our role play area is set up as a Post Office. The children have loved writing their own letters and posting them to friends. We have thought about the job of a postman and why we have stamps.

We have started to learn the songs for our nativity as well. Your help with learning lines at home is greatly appreciated. Please do come and ask if you need help over a costume. You can bring your child's costume in whenever it is ready.

I hope you all managed to access the online phonics e-books for your children to read at home.  Another book will be added to your child's online library soon.

Lots of the children have had coughs and colds this week. I hope that everyone has a good rest this weekend and are feeling better by Monday,

The Year R Team
