Good afternoon everyone,

The highlight of our week has definitely been our trip to the church.  Although we have obviously visited before, this was the children's first opportunity to really explore the building and find out more about what makes it such a special place. They asked some fantastic questions, including what is your favourite biscuit (food is always very important to Badger Class!)  The children were a little shocked that during our picnic they had to pay a crisp tax to Simon!

Next week we will be visiting the church again for our final Little Flames service. This is on Friday 7th July at 10.30am. It would be lovely if you could join us there.

In phonics we have been reading words that end in 'ing' or 'ed'.  I have added this week's books to the children's e-libraries for you to read at home. Keep practising those tricky words too. The children are becoming so confident at using them in their writing.
