We have had a lovely week. Well done if you have managed to avoid the germs!
There are lots of germs going around at the moment so we are doing lots of extra handwashing in Badger class!
In our writing sessions and independent learning time this week, we have been making cards. The children have really enjoyed doing this and has given them the opportunity to practise their hand writing, name writing and using known sounds to spell words.
Today, we visited the church for the Little Flames service. The children listened so well and everyone commented on how beautifully they behaved and their fantastic manners. Well done Badgers. This service is open to parents so please feel free to join us for the next one on the 8th December.
I have sent a new handwriting booklet home today. This is vital practise and will really help the children with their confidence in writing. There won’t be another booklet until midway through next half term so enjoy doing this and take your time!
Junk modelling next week:
We are hoping to do some junk modelling next week so please can I ask that if you have any recycling at home, we would really appreciate it if you could bring it in for us to use. Any cardboard, cartons and milk lids are perfect. Thank you so much.
Walk on Monday:
We are looking forward to our walk around the village on Monday. Thank you to everyone who has emailed me with their availability for trips, I really appreciate it. We now have enough volunteers for Monday but I have added you all to a list so hopefully everyone will have the opportunity.
Thank you for your continued support.
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
