Happy Friday!

In Badger class this week, we have been learning all about Chinese New Year. We listened to the story about the race and then had our own race on the playground. This helped us to learn about ordinal numbers in maths. We have also been busy making lanterns, making collages and writing all about facts that we have learnt. 

In maths, we have been focusing on making doubles. We used the dominoes to help us and some of us even chose to make our own in child initiated time. Well done Badgers. 

Next week, on Tuesday afternoon, we have a very exciting afternoon planned. We have really enjoyed having a cafe role-play area this half term so we are going to the church to have a 'cafe experience'. Please let me know if you have any questions about this.
