This week in English we have been looking again at the story of the Three Little Pigs. We have created our own story maps and have sequenced the story using pictures, using these to help us tell someone else the story.

In maths we have been looking at teen numbers. We have been investigating what they are made up of and talking about what we know about them.

Just a quick reminder...home learning is now online. It gets posted on a Wednesday and is due the following Wednesday. There is still time to complete last weeks before the next assignments are posted. There is 1 spelling game that has to be completed 3 times (next week it will only needed to be completed twice) and 3 different maths games. We also ask that you read with you child at least 3 times a week and go through their key words with them 3 times a week. 

Could we also put in a request...when dropping your child/children off in the morning, please drop them at the gate and then move away so that they cannot see you. We are working on smooth transitions and it can unnerve the children when they see you as they are lining up and walking in. They are doing so well in Year 1 and this small change would make such a difference.
