Read through the text carefully, underline any words you don’t understand and speak to your adult.

Handwriting

For your handwriting today, I would like you to do two lines of:

g, j, y.

Then using your HFW booklet, copy out the next 4 words.  As a challenge, write each of these words into a simple sentence.

Key words/ common exception words

5-10 mins

Practise reading your key words and common exception words.  Do them out of order, in silly voices or any other way that helps you remember them.

Mental Maths

10 mins

What am I?  Go through the slides, guessing what shape is being described. 

As a challenge – can you describe a 2D shape to someone using good mathematical language?  Were they right?  Can you guess theirs?

Over this week, we will be exploring Easter and why it is important to Christians. 

I want you to start our RE learning by drawing a picture of what Easter means to you.
