Then using your HFW booklet, copy out the next 4 words.  As a challenge, write each of these words into a simple sentence.

Today you are going to be writing sentences using ‘and’ as a conjunction (joining word). 

You may want to have your work from Tuesday open (nouns and adjectives) to support your sentences. 

Your task today is to write descriptive sentences about The Gruffalo. 

e.g.

The Gruffalo has orange eyes and a poisonous wart.

The Gruffalo’s tongue is black and slimy.

How many descriptive sentences can you write about The Gruffalo?

Start by going through the attached presentation, talking about the different questions that come up and anything that surprises you.

For your activity I would like you to create a poster to show what you think are the most important things about Earth.  You may want to include things we could do to help the Earth (e.g. recycle, reuse).  Make sure you make them colourful J
