This week we are looking at The Gruffalo. Today you are going to be writing sentences using ‘and’ as a conjunction (joining word). You may want to have your work from Tuesday open (nouns and adjectives) to support your sentences.
Your task today is to write descriptive sentences about The Gruffalo. e.g. The Gruffalo has orange eyes and a poisonous wart. The Gruffalo’s tongue is black and slimy.

As you watch the video, talk about the language being used as it may not be familiar. Pause the video when questions are being asked and have a short discussion about their thoughts. Then have a go at the attached task. You may want to use items from your home to help visually demonstrate capacity.
