Then go to phonics play - phase 5 – choose a game you would like to try (we have played buried treasure in class).

Read the word out loud, break it down and blend as needed.

For your handwriting today, I would like you to do two lines of:

Capital X, Y, Z.

Then using your HFW booklet, copy out the next 4 words.  As a challenge, write each of these words into a simple sentence.

We are going to be exploring ‘At the Seaside’ in geography.  You have already drawn your own beach, today we will be looking at lots of different beaches that can be found throughout the United Kingdom. 

Look through the PowerPoint and talk about different things you see in the pictures, what surprises you about them.  There are some questions at the end.

I would then like you to have a go at labelling the features of a seaside.
