I hope you all had a lovely weekend. We're down to the last three days of the summer term, I cannot believe how close you all are to going into Year 2. Here is today's learning -tenha um dia brilhante!

Phonics Play |
Today I would like you to spend the session on phonics play. Focus on your speed sounds and blending accurately. Try the ‘Flash Cards time challenge’ – how many can you say out loud correctly in one minute? How about two minutes? Make sure to say the sounds out loud. You could also try ‘Rocket Rescue’. |

Reading |
Read through the poem and answer the questions. Once you have answered the questions, why not have a try at performing the poem out loud. |

Complete the attached sheet. |

For the next three days we will be revising our learning on time. I have attached all of the sheets so that you are able to work through them at your own pace over the next few days. Today, you are going to be working on an ‘All about me’ sheet ready to give to your Year 2 teacher. This is an opportunity to write about all the things you would like your new teacher to know about you. Remember to take care with your handwriting. For those children at home, please bring this in with you in September. |
