Hello, 

We have had a brilliant week in Year 1. 
 

In English, we have started our new learning journey focused around the book 'I want my hat back'. The children have predicted what the story will be about and have written questions to ask the bear. 
In Maths we have been looking at numbers to 10 and using multi-link. 
We finished the week by creating some handprint art which the children all enjoyed. 

I have been really impressed with the children this week and how they have adapted to Year 1, especially how quickly and independently they got changed for PE today. 
 

Over the weekend it would be great if you could practice with your child how to open their bags, sometimes the clips are a little bit tricky. As well as opening their own snack packets.
