Hello everyone,

It has been great to all be back together again after half term.

We have had a busy week this week and the children have settled back into their school routine well.

In English we have started our new learning journey based around ‘Lily and the Snowman.’ The children have done a wonderful job at predicting what would happen to the snowman and have discussed together as a class what they thought about the short clip. To finish the week we have written our own questions to ask Lily or the Snowman.

In Maths we have been using a whole part model to partition the numbers six and seven, we have used multi- link and counters to help us visually see the number partitioning.

In History we have started our new topic based on Toys. The children all created a timeline for their life and recognised key milestones as well as identifying toys from the 1960s.
