Happy Easter holidays!
We have had a very busy week with lots of lovely things going on.
In English, we finished our letters to Beegu.
In maths, we have been applying addition and subtraction to mass. We have been using the scales to measure mass and solve problems.
On Monday we spent the day working on our DT project. Our play equipment for animals at Marwell Zoo was absolutely fantastic! The children’s ideas were so creative and it was so nice to spend the day working on the project together.
Thank you to everyone who came to our Easter service at the church yesterday. It was really lovely for the whole school to come together and celebrate. A big well done to the 4 children in Year 1 who read the prayers, you did a fantastic job!
We enjoyed going to Woodpeckers yesterday afternoon for a Spring festival. There were lots of lovely activities set up including; cake decorating, spring colouring, bird watching, nature collages and learning about the food bank. The children were all so polite and were chatting away to the residents!
Today, we were very lucky to have a visit from ‘West End in Schools’. The children enjoyed a fantastic workshop about the book ‘The Twits’. They brought the book to life with some very convincing drama!
We sadly said goodbye to Miss Woodford this week as she is returning to university to become a qualified teacher. We will miss her so much and her new class in September are lucky to have her.
Thank you for all of your continued support.
Have a wonderful Easter and we will see you all in 2 weeks.
