Hello and Happy New Year!

It has been lovely seeing the children in school this week and hearing all about their holidays.

This term the children will be taking part in Forest School sessions on a Monday afternoon. Half of the children will have sessions up to February half term and then the other half of the class will have sessions after half term. If your child is starting Forest School on Monday 8^th January they will have bought home a letter explaining what they will need. A copy of the letter can be found at the end of the blog.

In Phonics, we have been revising a-e, and u-e and the tricky words would, should and could.

In English, we are reading Dinosaurs from Head to Tail and the children will be creating their own dinosaur!

In Maths, we have looked at place value, counting within 20 and finding different ways to make 10.

In Jigsaw the children have been talking about times they have felt proud and setting simple goals.
