We hope you had a lovely half term!
In maths this week, we have been looking at subtracting to 20 using number-lines.
In English, we have started reading a new book ‘Man on the Moon’. This links really nicely to our history topic of learning about the first man on the moon. The children have amazed us with their knowledge about space.
In phonics we have learnt the new sounds or as in work, u as in awful, oul as in could, are as in share, oor for door and al for walk.
If your child is in group 2 for Forest School they will bring a note home with a list of the clothing they will need to bring in on Monday – this is also attached to the bottom of the blog.
Please ensure your child has their PE kit in school, PE days are Monday and Friday.
Don’t forget to return slips for our trip to Marwell Zoo on Thursday 21st March, we need them in by Thursday 29th February – thank you.
