Hello,

We have had a lovely week learning all about Bob the ‘The Man on the Moon’ for English and making space survival kits in History for the Apollo 11 mission. 

In Maths, we have been solving number problems using pictures and number lines.

In phonics, we have learnt ‘tch’ catch, ‘ture’ picture, ‘al’ calm, a ‘mask’ and the tricky words once, our, laugh and because.

For Science, we have been learning all about Spring and how the days are getting longer and plants are starting to grow.

In PE we are learning to jump and land with control and catching and throwing.

Don't forget next Thursday is World Book Day and the children can come in dressed as their favourite character from a book.

The children are bringing home letters today about the Readathon we are holding to encourage a life-long love of reading and raise money for a new school library.
