Hello!

The children looked amazing in their World Book Day costumes on Thursday. They enjoyed sharing their favourite books with the Year 4 children. Earlier in the week, the author Simon Chadwick came in to talk about his books to the whole school and was very inspirational.

In Science, we went on a lovely walk around the school grounds looking for signs of spring such as blossom and primroses.

In phonics, we have learnt ‘a’ ball, ‘a’ swap, ‘ear’ pear, ‘ere’ there and the tricky who, whole, because, eye and people.

For maths, the children are counting up to 50 and partitioning numbers into tens and ones.
