Good afternoon,
What an incredible Christmas term we’ve had! I’m so proud of all the Owls for embracing the joy and excitement of this festive season. The children have worked tremendously hard, learning new songs, expressing their creativity, and discovering the meaning behind the Christingle.
A heartfelt thank you for your continued support and encouragement throughout this term. We are also so grateful for the generous gifts and warm messages you’ve shared with us. It has been our pleasure to support all the children to develop and grow this year.
This week, we bid a fond farewell to Ms. Lever. She will be deeply missed, but we wish her all the best in her new endeavours and hope she’ll stop by to visit us in the future. Mrs Burch has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the Owls and is excited to work alongside Mrs Kitcher in January to continue supporting the children’s learning journey.
I’m looking forward to welcoming the children back and hearing all about their Christmas adventures on Tuesday, 7th January.
Forest school Information The children have been split into two groups. One group will participate in Spring 1 (after the Christmas holidays), and the other will participate in Spring 2 (after the February half-term). Today, your child will bring home a slip letting you know their group and what they will need. If you are DBS checked and available to come in and help Miss Jones on all or some of these Forest School afternoons, please let me know adminoffice@brockenhurst-primary.hants.sch.uk
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Warm regards,
The Year 1 Team
