Good afternoon everyone! What a lovely sunny day it has been for us all.

We are nearing the end of term, but there is still a lot going on in Year 1!

In Maths we have been partitioning tens and ones using part-whole models. We have also been completing number lines to 50.

In English we completed and edited our stories based on the book Whatever Next.

In Science we looked at what a plant needs in order to survive and predicted what would happen to some grass if a rock was placed on top of it. Next week we will find out what happened!

In DT the children made some fantastic and colourful aliens out of air-dry clay.
