This week in English we have finished our diary entries.  We wrote these from Samson’s point of view and we were very impressed with the outcome.  The children really focussed on the content and made some excellent language choices.

In maths we have been looking at 2D shapes.  We have revisited naming and describing them and then ended the week by identifying a vertical line of symmetry. We used mirrors to help us and sorted different pictures.

We have had a lovely final week of Autumn Term! The children were treated to a visit from Santa and he gave us a selection of gifts for our class.  We had great fun playing with the new games this week.

We would like to say a huge thank you for all of the beautiful cards and gifts we have received – we are truly overwhelmed and grateful.  We have had a wonderful term with your children and have appreciated your support along the way too J
