Good evening

I hope you are all well and have had a good day.  Please see below activities for tomorrow.

Have a good day.

Subject Area

Time Allocated

Instructions

Handwriting

15 mins

Please use your booklets to complete 15 minutes of handwriting practise.  Don’t forget your lead-ins and take your time!

Maths

15 mins

Answer these questions in your home learning book:

18 ÷ 3 =

14 ÷ 2 =

4 x 5 =

14 + 23 =

79 – 14 =

Maths

45 mins

L.O: To understand the equivalence of ½ and 2/4.

Complete the attached worksheet.  If you cannot print it out just draw the shapes in your book. When sharing quantities use pictures (2 people for half or 4 people for quarters) to share out the total amount equally.  You could also do this practically with lego/pasta/blocks etc. Remember for two quarters you will need to put together two parts of the whole amount.

We have previously looked at the equivalence of ½ and 2/4 so this should be a recap of our previous learning.

Reading

15 mins

Read a book that you have read before and enjoy.  This could be your reading book, a library book or one you have at home. Read this out loud.  Can you think of a different title for this book?  Make sure it still matches with what happens in the story!

Writing

30 mins

L.O: To explore a characters thoughts and feelings.

Think about the alien form the poem.  Imagine he has just arrived on earth.  What might he see, smell, feel, hear?

Write a thought bubble form the alien’s point of view to describe what earth is like to him.  Don’t forget to use ‘I’ as you are writing in the first person.

Science

1 hour

Attached is an Easter basket craft activity.  If you are able to print you could use one of the designs. If not you could draw your own template (use the attached as a guide to help) and then draw your own Easter themed pictures.
