Have a look at the attached short story.

Choose one of the different pets.  Make a prediction about what the pets could get up to at night time.  Use because to explain why you think that.  What kind of characters are the animals?  Are they cheeky, funny, brave, mischievous or kind?

L.O: To test materials.

Following on from last week’s lesson you can now make your boat. Use the materials that you predicted would be most suitable.  Remember we want the boat to be waterproof and have a solid structure.

Test your boat and answer these questions.

Did your boat float?  Which materials were best?  Did any of the materials change at all when they came into contact with the water? Would you change any materials? If so why and what would you change them for?
