Dear Parents,

We have had a great second week and the children have responded very well to the new routines of Year 2.

We have been learning about place value of numbers to 100 this week in as many concrete and pictorial ways as possible. The children were fantastic today at problem-solving with numbers and had a great attitude to attempting something then found hard at the start.

We have been focusing on our sentence work in English and remembering Capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. 

We are able to attend the Library every Friday this year, which the children are loving.  If your child has an outstanding library book to return please can you put it in their bags for next week so that I can issue new ones.
