Round up of the week

English

This week we written letters from two contrasting positions, as a 1^st class passenger and as a 3^rd class passengers. The children all wrote fantastic letters using expanded noun phrases, adverbs and contractions.

Maths

We returned to place value this week and undertook further practise in part, part whole of numbers and using it to add two digit numbers to two digit numbers. We also added and subtracted 10 and 1 to and from numbers up to 100.

Science

The children loved designing a home for their pets or imaginary pets, ensuring that they provided food, water, shelter, exercise and play opportunities.
