Round up of the week

English

This week we been concentrating on conjunctions and using them to create complex sentences.

We have used the Carol Ann Duffy’s poem “Halo” to create our own poems using conjunctions.

Maths

We have been learning about pictograms and tally charts including interpreting them and drawing them. The children loved creating their own tally charts based their lunch choices.

Titanic

To end our unit the children created the different elements of the Titanic to form a diorama. It is truly magnificent!

Science

The children have been learning about healthy eating today.
