Happy New Year and welcome back!

Penguins have settled into the new term fantastically returning full of energy and enthusiastic to learn! 

This week in English we have been writing a recount of our Christmas holidays. I have loved reading about all the children's festive adventures and it sounds like they have had lots of fun too! In maths we have been adding 2, 2 digit numbers which Penguins have picked up super speedily and in art we have started our African art unit. We have also commenced our new Jigsaw PSHE programme which the children are really looking forward to exploring throughout the term. 

Few Admin bits and bobs:

Penguins reading books were changed on Wednesday this week, however, next week we will return to Monday and Thursday book change. We will visit the library on Tuesday to enable the children to change their library books and homework will be set on Spelling Shed as normal on Monday.
