It has been really lovely to talk to lots of you at parents evening this week and share your child’s achievements so far this year with you. Penguins are superstars, always trying their best and working extremely hard!

This week in English we have planned and written stories based on our book Lila and the Secret of the Rain. The children have come up with loads of amazing ideas basing their titles on items such as rain, snow, ice, rainbows and Autumn to name a few.

In maths we have been practising multiplying numbers using different methods and also sharing into equal groups and in science we have been exploring the properties of materials. In art we have finished our African art unit by making our own silhouette animal pictures with pastel backgrounds - have a look at our school Instagram to see some examples of penguins brilliant work.

Penguins well done on a fantastic half terms work - I am very proud of all of you!
