We have had so much fun in Penguin class this week!

As you know on Wednesday we went to Longdown Dairy Farm. Penguins had a brilliant day getting the opportunity to hold baby chicks, feed the calves and baby goats and collect eggs amongst other things. It was really lovely to see some of the children overcome their fears of being around animals too.

And as you also know yesterday we went to a coronation tea party. The children looked lovely in their crowns and really enjoyed meeting children from another school and playing with them!

I am also a very proud of all the children as they have behaved amazingly when out on our trips. At several points during our Longdown visit members of the public care up to me to say how polite the children were and that Penguins were letting younger children visiting the farm that day go first. They are all superstars!

I think we have some tired penguins today but to finish the week we are having a whole school tea party this afternoon!
