It has been another lovely week in Penguin class…we can’t believe it’s Friday already!

In English we have continued to explore our current text Tidy. We have made posters encouraging everyone to keep the forest tidy, sequenced the story and thought about our likes, dislikes, puzzles and patterns in the story too.

In maths we have continued working on our money skills - Penguins have been very resilient all week and are now very good at recognising money and adding it up. 

In geography we have been exploring what homes are like in Kampong Ayer and in PE we have started a gymnastics unit focusing on making shapes….Penguins worked together to spell out ‘Penguins’! 

Thank you very much for sending all the forest school kit in! Group 1 had enormous fun during their first session and whilst they did this group 2 started an African art unit drawing patterns with oil pastels.
