It has been a lovely week in Penguin class made even nicer by the warm weather!

In English we have planned, written and edited our own stories in the same style as a Lighthouse Keepers Lunch and in maths we have been adding and subtracting with mass. Penguins stories were amazing and they have demonstrated brilliant resilience in maths. In geography we have been learning about sugar including exploring how much sugar is recommended and how much sugar is in different foods. In art we have been working on our collaging skills and in PE we were lucky to have a session delivered by students from Brockenhurst college - Penguins loved this!

Forest school group 2 first catch up session will be next Monday (13th May). If your child is in group 2 please could their forest school stuff come in on Monday. We are still waiting for confirmation of when the second session will be but will keep you posted.

Just a reminder that children need to bring a named water bottle into school every day and also whilst its warm please could they bring a sun hat in every day too - thank you!
