Hello,

We hope you all had a lovely Easter!

The children have come back to school excited for their new learning!

In English, we are reading ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch’ by Ronda and David Armitage. It is a very funny book and the children will be writing their own version of the story to share with the Year 1 children.

For maths we have been looking at mass and solving problems with grams and kilograms.

Our spellings this week have been looking at ‘c’ as the ‘s’ sound after i and y for example circus, circle, fancy, city, spicy.

In PE we have started athletics getting ready for Sports Day on Thursday 22^nd May.

Don’t forget swimming lessons start on Tuesday 6^th May.
