Our first swimming session is tomorrow - the children are a mixture of nerves and excitement. 

The children need their swimming trunks or costume and towel in a bag. If they usually wear goggles, bring them too. Any girls who usually wear a swim hat, I am an expert at getting them on. If girls are usually in tights, they are allowed to bring leggings and socks to put on for after, rather than struggling back into tights. Don't forget the socks!

I do always have spare costumes and towels with me in case anyone gets to the pool and realises they have left something behind.
