Year 3
Summer 1 Week 4
Friends, Romans, countrymen: lend me your ears!
We have continued to study Julius Caesar this week and looked at Mark Anthony's famous speech. The children were already familiar with this phrase as I use it frequently when I want them to listen to the lunch choices each morning.
In maths we have been ordering and comparing fractions. The children have done really well and persevered at what some of them find a very tricky bit of maths.
We have finished the week making Roman Shields. They look fantastic - I will share some photos when I have worked out how to stop the pictures being published upside down. We're looking forward to our battle next week - and a bit of marching!
Have an enjoyable weekend,
Clare
