Good afternoon everyone.

Year 3 have gone pop-up crazy this week! Our project for Design and Technology is to make a pop-up Christmas card. Earlier in the week we made some mini prototypes, trialling different techniques for the pop-up mechanism. We chose which we liked best and used that in our design. This afternoon we have started to make our cards and they are looking great so far. We'll get them finished next week and then you'll be able to see the finished products.

In between D&T we have been practising our Christmas songs for next week. I hope you'll be able to join us in the church on Thursday afternoon. We also finished our science investigation, looking at which candles are the brightest. We were all surprised to find out how bright birthday candles are!
