Year 3

Friday Blog - Friday 14th march
Good afternoon everyone.
On Monday, we joined forces with Year R to go into the local community for a litter pick. You'd be surprised how much litter we found between here and the train station. The children all buddied up with a younger friend and off we went, with litter picks in hand. The children were fab at spotting even the tiniest piece of litter and were great at supporting the younger children too. Well done Roe Deer Class.
Other highlights of the week include our 8th swimming lesson, writing nature poems, learning about fractions (perhaps not a highlight, we've found bits of this quite tricky!), more yoga with Mrs Shilton, planting geranium seedlings, learning about the Christchurch earthquake, botanical collages and investigating nets! We have been busy.
I think we all need a restful weekend,
Clare
