Good afternoon everyone,

An early blog today as I will be at the Summer Fair after school today. The children are very excited, as they have watched all day as more visitors arrive and the stalls are set up! I hope you're all coming!

More excitement this week as we have learnt our routine for our song in Oliver with a Twist.  Lots of the children have told me their costumes are nearly ready. Now they have learnt our dance, they understand why they really need pockets as we are the pick pockets!

We have also become tea experts, writing our own leaflets. These include information about Fairtrade and lots of superstitions around drinking tea, which the children found fascinating. The finished leaflets looked fabulous.

Some news to share - last week we successfully interviewed for a maternity cover for Mrs Dolbear.  The successful candidate was Charlotte Bates. You and the children will have the opportunity to meet her on move-up morning and meet the teacher.
