Stone Age Archaeologists
Turtle class have had another great week. We've started our Stone Age topic in earnest, carrying out an archaeological dig to find evidence left behind from the Stone Age and looking at examples of cave art. This will have inspired the children to have a go at creating their own cave art next week.
In Science our topic is Bones and Muscles. We had great fun drawing what we thought our skeletons look like on the playground, which bemused the rest of the school when they came out at playtime!
I received everyone's homework books back, on time, so well done Year 3 for your organisation and independence. The children also did well in their spellings and times tables tests. All the children were tested on the 5 times table and some have already demonstrated that they are competent at this and so will now move onto the 3 times table. If this applies to your child they will have a note in their book bag tomorrow.
We're all looking forward to another busy week.
