Our Mathsolympics were held today! The children all had great fun racing round the circuit and answering maths questions as quickly as they could. The results will be announced in assembly on Monday. Thank you for the £1 contributions that were sent in. 

During the rest of the week our highlights have been:

• an archaeological dig
• our new book - Wolves by Emily Gravett
• learning about angles
• more cave painting!

In the next few weeks I am planning an art project that requires each child to use a 4 pint plastic milk bottle. Please could you send your child to school with an empty, washed out bottle next week.

We are still desperate for help in Year 3 - please, if you have a spare hour, or half hour, that you could spare to come and support us we would be very, very grateful.
