We had a fantastic day on Thursday - a whole day of Design and Technology. The children all made a Caveman (or Cavewoman) puppet. All the children's sewing skills improved as the morning went on sewing their puppet pieces together. In the afternoon we gave our puppets faces and clothes, not forgetting to stuff their heads with fluff. Have a look in the Year 3 photo albums to see how amazing the finished puppets are. Well done Turtle Class. You showed real determination tackling this difficult task.

This week we have also been:

• making Stone Age artefacts with clay
• dancing to Uptown Funk
• learning about wolves
• accurately drawing lines and 2D shapes

The homework continues our research about wolves. I have also set a couple of tasks on Mathletics for any who wish to complete it.

I have had some 4 pint milk bottles but we still need a few more so please continue to bring them in next week. Also a reminder that the children should have their reading book and PE kit in school EVERY day.
