Year 3
Autumn 2 Week 1
The children of Turtle Class would like to invite their parents to:
OUR STONE AGE MUSEUM
This pop-up museum will be open for one time only on Friday 9th November at 3.00pm in the year 3 classroom. The children are very excited to share all their work with you and look forward to answering any questions you may have about their artefacts. We hope you can make it.
This week we have been reading a poetry anthology called A Nest Full of Stars. The children have greatly enjoyed the poems and have been inspired to write some great poems of their own.
In Maths we have been looking at multiplication and division relating to the 4x table. I have set a couple of Mathletics activities for children who wish to do them.
We all had great fun on Monday afternoon at the village hall watching a pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk. We all laughed a lot and sang along loudly with all the songs. It was amazing!
This week we have also got to know Miss Michael, a teaching student from Winchester University who will be with us for the next six weeks. She has quickly got to know all the children and is looking forward to her experience with them.
Have a great weekend,
Clare
