Round up of the week.

Maths

We have begun our multiplication and division learning. The children have looked at the six times tables and the relationship between multiplication and division. We have looked at mental maths as well as bar models and whole part model.

English

We have this week written our own chapter continuing on the story of “Oliver and the Seawigs” following an analysis of how the author starts and finishes chapters. The children did a fantastic job of incorporating simple, complex and simple sentences into their writing.

Science

We have experimented through a series of games with mirrors this week and recording our findings.
