Yr 4 - 29th March 2019 - Week 5
Round up of the week.
We have had a fantastic time today. Thank you so much for all the Mums that came in. The children have been out all day enjoying the weather.
Maths
We have finished our time unit. We will revisit this later in the year.
We have moved on to quadrilaterals and perimeter, which we incorporated in our lesson this morning.
It would be very useful if you were able to continue to practise time telling skills at home over the coming weeks in order that the children embed their knowledge.
English
This week have started reading our new book “Mouse, Bird, Snake and Wolf”. The children have debated the children’s endeavours to create new animals and written a letter of advice to the children. Today they created their own creatures out of the materials found on the field.
Science
We have made rain, made earthquake proof buildings, predicted and observed, through the use of dye the feeding of a carrot root, celery stick and a flower. Finally, we have also made flowers out of quadrilaterals this week.
If you have any questions please do come and see me.
Have a great weekend.
Mrs Hudson
