Yr 4 - 21st June 2019 - Week 3
Round up of the week.
We have been learning to divide using the bus stop method.
We also had a fantastic time showing how great we are with our times tables and measurements when they came in on Friday.
This week we have been looking at the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet, analysing the decisions by Romeo and the consequences of those decisions.
Hampshire Collegiate School
We had an amazing time yesterday at Hampshire Collegiate School. The children used their map reading skills to find clues to some treasure, went on a bug hunt, did an archaeological dig and made clay boggits! The school made us feel incredibly welcome.
Students from Shanghai
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we will be inviting 8 students with a teacher into our class in order that they can experience teaching in a British Primary School. They will be undertaking the same lessons as our children but will hopefully be able to tell us a little about their own life’s back in China and teach us a few words of Mandarin.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
