In maths this week, we have finished our unit on Place Value and we will revisit this later in the year. The children have been using their rounding skills to estimate and have been counting in 50s and in 25s. The children's homework on Mathletics will revisit some of the Place Value work that we have been doing. 

In English, we have started a new book called 'How to Train Your Dragon' by Cressida Cowell. The children are absolutely loving the story and have been so engaged in their writing. We will continue with this fiction writing next week. 

Homework

The children have now been given their log ins for Mathletics, Times Table Rock Stars and Spelling Shed, with a few hiccups along the way! We have practised logging in at school so the children should be familiar with each of these websites. Please encourage them to log in to all of these and complete their set work.
