Hello everyone,

Please see below Thursday 26th March's daily activities and the timetable. When you have finished your research and presentation/poster/film for Geography, if you have completed them on the computer, please feel free to email them to me if you can - I would love to have a look at some of them!

  • Answer all of the questions on the sheet which is attached on the bottom of the blog in your home learning books.
  • Answers are also uploaded to mark your work when finished.

Reading

15 minutes

  • LO I can answer comprehension questions.
  • Complete the reading comprehension attached.
  • Read the text and answer the questions in your home learning book.  

Spellings

15 minutes

  • Practise your spellings on Spelling Shed.

Writing

30 minutes

  • LO I can write a newspaper report.
  • Write a newspaper report, reporting on the fight between the Montagues and the Capulets. You may need to add in parts that are not real to make it more interesting. Make sure you include quotes from people involved in the fight! If you need to, you can make up some additional characters for this. 
  • Look at the features of a newspaper report/newspaper writing top tips to help you to remember what to include in a newspaper report.
  • This will be completed during today’s writing lesson and tomorrow’s so please start it today and finish it tomorrow.

Geography

1 hour

  • Complete your research and e.g. a poster, a presentation, a film, of a natural disaster.
