Hello everyone,

Hope you have all managed to enjoy your Easter holidays and have been able to get out in the sunshine. Please see below the timetable and the attached resources for today's learning. Hope you enjoy! Any questions, do get in touch.

  • For Maths this week, we will be using the White Rose resources which can be found at this website:

  • We will be starting with Week 1: Lesson 1: Recognise tenths and hundredths. (Not the summer term resources – yet!)
  • There is a video, worksheet and answers to go with each lesson. The video will teach the children the skills they require to answer the questions. They should answer the questions in their home learning books.
  • I will also attach the questions and answers to the blog as well.

Reading

15 minutes

  • Quiet reading your own book.

 

Spellings

15 minutes

  • Practise your spellings on Spelling Shed.

  • LO I can watch parts of a video and write my responses
  • This week’s English unit is based on a short film called ‘Something Fishy’ which can be found at this link: https://vimeo.com/24962214
  • For today’s lesson, you will need to pause the video at specific moments and record what you notice about what is happening in the video and what this might tell us. YOU SHOULD NOT WATCH THE VIDEO THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH TODAY.
  • There are two documents which are attached to today’s blog which will help you: a table which you can copy into your Home Learning book to help you to record your responses and another table with some examples and instructions.
