Main Maths Lesson

• For Maths this week, we will be using the White Rose resources again which can be found at this website:

• We will be starting with Week 2: Lesson 1:Dvide 2-digits by 10 (Not the summer term resources – yet!)
• There is a video, worksheet and answers to go with each lesson. The video will teach the children the skills they require to answer the questions. They should answer the questions in their home learning books.
• I will also attach the questions and answers to the blog as well.

Reading

• Day 1 – LO I can summarise an information text.
• This week our English focus is going to be about one page taken from Steve Mould’s book called ‘Science is Magic’.
• The page that we are focusing on is called  ‘Houdini’s Water Escape’.
• Task: Today you need to read the information page which is attached. You then need to write a summary of who Harry Houdini is and what the page is about.

French

1 hour

• In French this year, we have practised some songs to learn some basic conversations.
• Today, I would like you to read through the help sheet which is attached with some English conversation phrases and the French translation. It also tells you how to pronounce them. Some of these will be revision from the songs we learnt earlier in the year.
• Then, using the pictures of the characters on the second page attached, please write a short conversation for each of them in your Home Learning books.
• Challenge: Try to have a conversation in French using the help sheet with someone at home. I would love to see some videos of these!
