Mental Maths

  • Please see attached the mental maths questions. The PowerPoint includes questions for the entire week. Please choose two 5 second questions and 2 10 second questions each day. The answers are on a separate PowerPoint this week.  

Main Maths Lesson

  • LO I can multiply a 3 digit number by a 1 digit number
  • For Maths this week, we will be using the White Rose resources again which can be found at this website:

  • Today’s lesson is Summer 1 Week 3: Lesson :1: Multiply 3 digit  number by 1 digit number
  •  There is a video, worksheet and answers to go with each lesson. The video will teach the children the skills they require to answer the questions. They should answer the questions in their home learning books.
  • I will also attach the questions and answers to the blog as well.

  • Complete the comprehension activity attached.

  • Practise your spellings on Spelling Shed.

  • LO I can explore a character and design my own.

  • This time, when you are watching, you need to focus on the appearance and personality of the creature.
  • You need to make notes in your book, or on the sheet attached, underneath these headings to describe what the creature is like:
  • skin
  • eyes
  • ears
  • mouth
  • tail
  • body
  • movements
  • likes/dislikes
  • sounds
  • Once you have made notes about the creature in the video clip, you are going to design your own creature.
  • You could add notes underneath the same headings but in a different colour for your own creature, changing the appearance and personality. OR you might want to do separate notes for your own creature. It’s up to you!
