Hello everyone,

We have had another great week in Year 4. We have welcomed Miss Savin to the team who is training to teach with us. 

In maths, we have been continuing with our work on measures, looking at perimeter and converting mm, cm and m. We will continue with this work next week. 

In English, we have been focusing on powerful verbs and adverbs to describe how the objects and characters move in the video 'Once in a Lifetime' as well as designing our own flying creatures which we will write about next week. 

The children have been working hard on their tennis skills in our PE lessons and are all really enjoying their Samba lessons with Mr Brooks on a Tuesday. 

I look forward to seeing some of you 'virtually' next week for Parent's Evening. If you are unable to have a meeting with me via zoom, please let me know and we can schedule a phone call appointment for another time.
