Year 4 Weekly Blog
6/11/20
Hello everyone,
We have had a great first week back at school. The children have settled back into the routines brilliantly.
In English, we have been studying a lovely book called The Firework Maker's Daughter by Philip Pullman. The children have written some lovely setting descriptions today based on these. We will also be completing some firework art next week linked to this book which the children are very excited about!
In maths, we have continued with our work on multiplication. We have been learning how to multiply numbers by 10 and 100 and have been spotting patterns with this. We will move on to some division work next week.
Our PE lessons are usually on a Wednesday and Friday, so please ensure your child's PE kit is on school on those days. Homework has been set for both spellings and maths, so please encourage your child to complete this.
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
