This week, the children have been working hard on their writing in English, thinking carefully about how they can use their writing to move the reader through different parts of the story  of the Polar Express. We have been watching short clips of the film before writing some fantastic descriptive pieces.

The children also really enjoyed decorating our classroom door with our theme for Christmas being the Polar Express! Each child had an important part to play before we put each part together to make one display. Have a look at the picture at the top of this post to see our door!

In maths, the children have been working really hard on fractions. Please do encourage them to complete their Mathletics homework in order to consolidate their learning.
